Pastel-coloured cloudy sky with, in the middle, the silhouette of a signpost with arrows pointing away in different directions. Text on either side of the signpost reads "Here and Now - A Friendzy"

I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?
So here I am, with an attempt at an original friending meme! Share, comment, find friends, you know the drill!

The more, the merrier:

The Basics (Can't Really Change Them)
Name: Belleweather, or Belle. (not my real name, but the one I use on the Internet)
Age: 43
Location: I'm an American, currently living in Latvia.

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? The Dawn of Everything, which is a super-dense book about the Neolithic and how we're reconciling our ideas of history and the meaning of humanity in light of new evidence. Lotharingia, which is about the part of Europe that my family is from but I don't like as much as I want to. Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, which is definitely the funniest of the MXTX Novels. As well as lots of miscellaneous fanfiction.
... Watching? Outlander, Vincenzo, Nirvana in Fire, Homestead Rescue (guilty pleasure)
... Listening to? Lots of old-school Pop Punk, some newer Latvian folk-rock, and lots of atmospheric things that I can put on at work without bothering my staff.
... Playing? Bejeweled. Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Pandemic: Legacy S.2
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Job-wise I'm totally buried in requests to help support for displaced people from Ukraine and Russia and Belarus. Leisure-wise, I have four sweaters I've knitted but haven't finished the sleeves on, and a mess of roving to spin into more yarn so I can make more sweaters. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to buy a fleece in a language I only sort of speak.
... Looking forward to? Summer! My garden! The Lilac festival! Planning more travel now that things are opening up!
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I mean, super super concerned about Russian Aggression in Europe, obviously. My husband is interviewing for a job next week, so concerned about that. And super annoyed about the sudden lack of napa cabbage on the local market, which translates into less Kimchi fried rice to put in my face.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? I just (like, just!) got back from vacation so apart from the one I just posted about our trip to Paris, my last entry was last week, before we left and was about work and Ukraine. Before that, I posted about planning the vacation and how excited I was to get new downstairs neighbors.

Anything else? Nope!

... Reading? Beyond Survival: Strategies and Stories from the Transformative Justice Movement. I'm on the last third. This year I have been bouncing between non-fiction and graphic novels. If you want, you can check out my storygraph to see if we have similar tastes.

... Watching? I mostly watch anime at the current moment but I want to try to watch more indie small films. Right now, I am watching the Hikaru no Go English dub Strange Dawn English sub, and Somali and the Forest Spirit English dub. Hikaru no Go is a really old shonen jump title about a boy's journey through the Go world (Go is a strategic board game, similar to chess but much more difficult). Strange Dawn is an old isekai/portal fantasy from 2000. Its a lot more suble and interesting than what we normally get nowadays. No power fantasy and lots of small things you have to pay attention to. No one is there explaining everything to you, you have to draw your own conclusions. Somali and the Forest Spirit is a delightful robot father, human daughter traveling through a monster world looking for humans.

... Listening to? Mostly I have just been listening to anime openings/sound track songs. I tend to like things that get me pumped up and awake while I am doing chores. But I have been getting into A Tribe Called Red and Halluci Nation.

... Playing? Not much right now. The most recent video game I played was Heaven's Vault, a small indie title involving translation, history, actually meaningful choices and the future of a small, dying world. Its such a breath of fresh air compared to other games. Truth be told I like to watch Let's Plays more than play games. I don't play tabletop games, my last two remaining brain cells can't handle it. Also I don't really do sports either.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I've been using the Finch App to add a bunch of small tasks to do like small bits of cleaning, cooking, exercise, make time for things I want to do but then don't, etc. I also makes posts about my progress every so often. I also want to travel more, especially for zine fests but not sure if I will get to do this, this year.

... Looking forward to? Zine fests and other nerdy activities. Travelling this year. Going to parks. Being more active in general.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? How easily tired my brain and body get. My past history of dropping activities. I guess political things too but not sure if I am going to blog about it. I guess it depends on how bad it gets or if it affects my life.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
I am new so I only have a couple of entries from the past couple of days. One post is about my boring life stuff like cleaning, exercise, cooking. Another is about the anime I'm watching. Another post is about the graphic novels I've read this year so far and my thoughts.

Anything else? My interests: science fiction/fantasy, ecofiction/solarpunk, low tech, zines, working on improving my life, learning, anime, manga, light novels, ace attorney, etc.

The Basics (Can't Really Change Them)
Name: Gillian
Age: 38
Location: Glasgow, Scotland

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? I just finished Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao, and in retrospect I think that a lot of my issues with it were that I didn't know that it was YA going in. Not that there's anything wrong with YA, it's just that for the unprepared it was extremely YA.
... Watching? I am loving the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
... Listening to? I listen to Critical Role as a podcast and am just about to finish up campaign two. I'm not sure whether to go back and listen to campaign one (The Legend of Vox Machina was unconvincing on this front) or move on and try to listen to campaign three in more or less real time.
... Playing? Elden Ring. Have I ever played a Soulsbourne game before? No. Do I know what the Elden Ring even is? Not really. Do I know who I am in the game? Er, no. Did it take me fifty hours to get out of the starting area? Kind of. And yet, still I play.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I work in a residential care home for older folks, I tend not to talk about it online because it is exactly as much fun as it sounds. But some day I may finally snap and inflict on everyone my novel length essay about all the ways the care system is fundamentally broken.
... Looking forward to? Everything Everywhere All at Once coming out in the UK
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I try to keep my online presence pretty fandom/media oriented, but sometimes my frustrations at UK politics will spill over (spoiler: I think Boris Johnson is a dick.)

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? A post about all of the media I consumed last month, a mini review of Horizon: Forbidden West, and me overthinking social awkwardness with regard to dropping out of ttrpg game I wasn't enjoying.
Anything else? Mostly fandom, but with occasional digressions about my dog, cooking, UK politics, and general Scottishness.

... Looking forward to? Leverage Redemption season 2
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Many things, but right now Alex Jones trending again is stressing me out because while I am not from Newtown, I am from near there

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? IDK I haven't been on LJ in ages but my last 3 DW posts are:

Location: The wilds of Lancashire, North West England

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? Spellbreaker by Charlie N Holmberg. I needed a book with a white cover for my reading bingo and I'd got this as a free Kindle book ages ago.
... Watching? Far too many things! They’re all either streaming or recorded, but I still have a schedule as to which programme I watch on what day. I can never tell if that's incredibly organised or incredibly sad. Anyway. Current programmes are: Life After Life, The Almighty Johnsons, Starstruck, Mutant X, Jonathan Creek (rewatching), Crossing Swords, and Black Books.
... Listening to? Nothing at this specific moment in time! I generally listen to Absolutely Classic Rock, Spotify playlists (often ones that I’ve made), or podcasts. My podcasts of choice are Stuff You Should Know, My Dad Wrote A Porno, and David Tennant Does A Podcast With...
... Playing? Ohhh, how long have you got? I have huge backlogs of games on Steam, GOG, and my PlayStation. I got The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for my laptop last week and I’ve been playing that a lot since. I also play Sims 4 regularly too. I’m replaying LA Noire on my PS3 to 100% it. I recently found the mobile game Spellcraft so I’ve been playing that on my phone. I think I have a gaming problem. Too many games and not enough time!!
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Work-wise - I'm currently a full-time unpaid carer for my mother. It involves doing all the housework, cooking, gardening, shopping, ordering medicines, taking her to appointments, and generally just being there. It’s 24/7 so it takes up a lot of my time and energy.
Leisure-wise - Most of my leisure time at the moment is spent reading or gaming.
... Looking forward to? I don't have any specific event coming up, but I'm seriously looking forward to being able to get back to cons and cosplay, and going on day trips. Oh, and getting a haircut. Really really looking forward to that.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Well, let’s take the current pandemic and situation in Ukraine as read, shall we? Current worries would be the fact that I am still suffering from the concussion I got a few weeks ago, which anti-virus to get when my free subscription expires at the end of the month, and how long my hair is getting omg.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
- 19th April: what I did over the four day Easter weekend. Spoiler: it was mostly gaming and reading.
- 24th April: my usual Sunday summary of the books, TV programmes, games, and films that I indulged in over the week.
- 26th April: the annoyance that is calling people and waiting for them to call back. Particularly when it’s to do with medical stuff or prospective tradespeople.

Anything else?
I post regularly and tend to do fairly lengthy posts, often with photos. Interaction is important to me as I like getting to know the people who have added me and making connections.

I’m Trans and identify as FTM and pansexual. I'm rather geeky, and I love learning new things just for fun, especially languages, history, and science. I'm mostly right-handed and I find it quite difficult to answer any survey/questionnaire type thing completely seriously. I make a Reading Bingo card each year and post a monthly update of my progress. Oh, and food. I often try new meals or bake cakes, and I post photos of them. It's a terrible tease. I do apologise.

Am I too late?

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? Just finished two books by Ukrainian author Andrey Kurkov (Grey Bees and Death and the Penguin). Reading a non-fiction on the Gardner museum heist in 1990 Boston and Françoise Sagan
... Watching? I've not been watching much apart from the news with the ongoing invasion of Ukraine and traveling, but I mostly watch MSNBC and have been watching Servant of the People on Netflix.
... Listening to?
... Playing? Constantly playing Crusader Kings III, New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Civilization 5. Also sometimes Bioshock Infinite but it has been a while.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Constant work as an attorney, but I did just take a wonderful trip to Germany and Poland that I just got back from.
... Looking forward to? I want to go back to Europe. I have no idea when I can.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The Russian invasion, work, money, Trump, why haven't we had all student loans abolished by the government and paid back with interest, why am I still single?

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? I'm still crossposting LJ and DW for the most part. I just did a review of the last two books I read and then my previous entries were from before I went to Europe earlier this month.

Anything else? I should probably put something clever and witty here, but I seem to be all out of clever and witty for the day.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Writing-wise, fanfic and original stuff alike.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The world. :P

What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them?

4/23: Why people still use tumblr and whether or not college/university is worth it. (tl;dr yes, but it doesn't guarantee you a career.)

4/22: Answering a Friday Five prompt on whether or not the media creates problems with self image.

The entry before that was personal, so I'll skip to the entry before the personal one.

4/13: Miss being excited about fandoms. (Harry Potter in particular, since JK Rowling is a TERF and I've lost all respect for her, but also in general.)

Anything else? I'd love to meet people who are interested in conversation! I miss having conversations on DW/LJ, whether be it fandom, real life, a mix.

The Basics (Can't Really Change Them)
Name: Tanya
Age: 42
Location:Quebec, Canada

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? Where the Crawdads Sing and Dirk Gently. I think I read a fair bit. Mostly fiction, but of all types and genres. Some poetry too, sometimes.
... Watching? Nothing per se. I just finished CODA and now am exploring if there's anything on Prime I want to watch before I cancel my subscription. I was keeping it because I wanted to watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which is awesome. Also currently watching Foundation with hubby.
... Listening to? I've been trying to find new punk bands I like. My favourite new one is Bad Cap / Bad Cop. In my regular rotation though, I listen to Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Sum 41, Sincere Engineer.
... Playing? I hardly play video games nowadays. Sometimes I'll get nostalgic and fire up The Sims, WoW, Civilisation...
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? This is tricky. My brain never stops, so I've got a few things going at all times. If it's during the school year, my brain is busy with that, mostly. Like right now it's already working on planning a class I might teach next year. (keywords: "might" and "next fall") If not, I craft a lot (I guess?) so I usually have a knitting project cast on, and I have a quilt underway (I chewed off way more than I could there, but I'll get through it eventually.)
... Looking forward to? Our family vacation this summer. We rented a cottage on the beach in New Brunswick (It's an old church!) and I'm really excited, not only to get away with the kids, but also to go with my mom. I am my mom's caregiver since my dad passed away at the end of August. She has lung cancer.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? All the things. I have anxiety, so the list is insane. More predominantly... my eldest daughter's anxiety, my youngest daughter's (probably) ADHD issues, my mom's health, anyone testing me. Like people, get out of my face.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?ok, I don't post often enough, I'll admit, but they were in the last few weeks, I think. I remember talking about health (mental and physical,) work, aaaand, hm, yeah that's what I mainly talk about I guess? I'm mostly daily life. It helps if you care about hearing about teaching!

Anything else? I'm a college ESL teacher, I don't journal as often as I'd like, try to come regularly enough that I don't miss much, try to comment, and I just love getting to know people from everywhere.

... Watching? Selling Sunset and The Ultimatum. I love trashy shows, haha.

... Listening to? A lot of old pop punk and current indie rock

... Playing? Video games are not a hobby I'm drawn to

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? For work, I am a marketing content writer, so I am usually working on a variety of somewhat technical projects for clients. In my leisure time, I'm almost always working on a cross-stitch project. Also working on training for some mountain climbing this summer.

... Looking forward to? My brother's wedding next weekend

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about?
I recently totaled my car and we're still dealing with insurance and procuring a new vehicle.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? I've been a little lapsed in my posting lately, but these three have been posted in the past three weeks:

... Reading? In fiction, The Fair Miss Fortune by D. E. Stevenson. In nonfiction, Of Blood and Bones: Working with Shadow Magick of the Dark Moon by Kate Freuler.
... Watching? I'm watching various kdrama (mostly 'Mr. Queen' and 'Green Mothers' Club') and will rewatch the movie 'Handsome Devil' today if I can snatch the time.
... Listening to? Lots of K-pop. Right now I'm eargasming to 'Love' and 'Burning Up' by Monsta X.
... Playing? Pretend. Daydreaming in other words.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I write scripts for a children's storytelling app as a fulltime gig. My debut novel is miaowing plaintively at publishers' doors as we speak.
... Looking forward to? Leisure time. When I can read, watch something, watch and listen to k-pop. Read and write on Dreamwidth.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Possibly moving. The city work wants me to move to is much more expensive than where I live currently, and I'm struggling to find a room-and-bathroom (not even a whole studio apartment, just a room-and-bathroom to myself!) that I can afford.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?

... Listening to? wwe theme songs, bon jovi, assorted rock music, random pop songs and pretty much nothing that has been released in the past couple of years. I've officially become 'urgh what's that noise' old.
... Playing? pokemon go, and like 5 variations of that crime scene mystery game you get on your phone where you basically try find all the objects in a picture.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I just left my job as a supervisor in retail after 4 years. It had become hell on earth and after having covid again I thought nah I'm done. So job searching at the moment. Probably stay in retail as I'm not great at sitting still so it works for me. I just adopted my cousin's ten year old cat though so working on settling him into our home with my and two other dogs! I'm glad I'm around to do that because before I was work sleep rinse repeat.
... Looking forward to? A new job and meeting new people wherever that may be. My social anxiety is getting nervous about it but I'm trying to think positive. My mum is standing in the local election next week so looking forward to see how that all plays out. Our whole homelife dynamic could change as I still 'live at home'
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Also if she wins the election! Just need to see. I am hugely worried about how far down the no rights/right wing rabbit hole the UK seems to be tumbling but that seems a bit deep for here. And not likely to come up on my page too much.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
April 22nd - wrap up of my last medical appointment, a whine about the diabetes community and my cat's progress.
April 20/21st a meme about my cat I made and me talking about his health after he ran away for a month.
April 19 sharing the news that we had found the cat and brought him home.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Getting caught up in my bullet journal and monolog journal mostly.
... Looking forward to? Birthday cake this weekend ufufu. Even if I can have birthday cake any day I choose, I'm exceptionally happy about this one because my roommate ordered it from a nice place. I'm also super excited for my sakura dragon squishable to arrive.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I'm easily annoyed so I'll spare strangers that. My kitty had some minor health discomforts, but she seems to be recovering. Still, I am worrying a little about that.

What were your last three Dreamwidth entries about and when did you post them?
Sorry, all of my stuff is friends-locked because I'm a rather private individual. Too many weirdos on Tumblr/Twitter have made me want to keep things like this close to my chest.

- 4/28: Post about my experience with Ragnarok: The Lost Memories, what I have been watching on Netflix, and an update on kitty health.
- 4/27: Elon Musk Twitter buyout thoughts (they don't really impact me) plus lamenting that Dreamwidth will never take off (the format doesn't fit the current fandom vibe), frustrations with Sea of Thieves griefing, and minor talk about birthday.
- 4/25: My weekly gaming log. I started posting every Sunday (or just about) the games I played the week before because I felt insecure as a gamer. This has helped reinforce that I do play games, just at a different pace than most of my friends who are trophy hunters.
- 4/25: BUUUT since the gaming log really isn't an entry, I ended up talking about my first day experiences with Ragnarok: The Lost Memories, a kitty health update, and Final Fantasy XIV stuff.

Anything else?
My user profile mostly covers anything else. I used to post a lot more regularly, but there have been a few weeks where I only post once or twice a week. I'm trying to get back into the swing of commenting too.

I'm not really much of a fandom anything any longer. I used to write long essays and share fic, I have taken a significant break from both and orphaned all my works.

Guess my only preferences are the usual DFI criteria (this card I googled sums it up) and I have no real interest in reading a large amount about religion or children. I don't dislike either of those subjects, I just have nothing to say in response to them usually. No one likes to be told how to parent and both are subjects people hold dearly to their heart so misspeaking can cause a lot of accidental grief.

I'm skipping the reading/watching parts because long COVID brain fog interferes with my ability to do either, and "listening to" can be answered by "everything except country and classical".

... Working on?
My fic. [I can read OR write but I can't do both, so my brain chose writing.] Maybe some fanart if I can get motivated.

... Looking forward to?
Dunno.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about?
War, the economy, far-right politics, anti-abortion legislation, anti-trans legislation.

What were your last three LJ Dreamwidth entries about and when did you post them?
Within the last week and nope, I'm not discussing that public, sorry.

Anything else?
I'm a queer trans man [he/him pronouns only], been out for close to a decade, chronically ill/disabled, neurodivergent, mentally ill, skittish and socially awkward but friendly. If you can't deal with foul language feel free to give me a pass, because I don't censor myself on my journal. You're not under obligation to read my fic if you add me - and I don't post it to my journal anyway - but you should be aware I write M/M porn which includes kink and problematic ships, if that offends your sensibilities. I live with my best friend, we have cats and I talk about the cats a lot. I am looking for people who will interact with me at least once in awhile - I've added people from friending memes before and they've forgotten I exist. No MAGA, no TERFs, no anti-vaxxers, no fandom drama llamas, no under-18s, thanks.

... Reading? An audiobook history of World War I and a print reread of some of Dorothy L. Sayers' Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries. I'm also trying to catch up on the massive pile of TBR graphic novels I've accumulated. Here's my profile on The StoryGraph.

... Watching? Star Trek: DS9 for the first time. Just finished Our Flag Means Death. I'm rewatching The Great British Bake Off and The West Wing as comfort viewing.

... Listening to? Sirius XM's Symphony Hall, the blues music of Jim Byrnes, and The Beatles. Though I do like pop music!

... Playing? We started doing jigsaw puzzles during the pandemic and haven't stopped.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? The usual household stuff, wrangling three dogs and a cat, trying to write fanfic and failing miserably.

... Looking forward to? The renewal of Our Flag Means Death (c'mon, HBO!), Thor: Love and Thunder, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, listening to more non-fiction audiobooks, reading more fanfic.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The world. I have a lot of anxiety. In more trivial matters, it's gnat season in Texas. They're very annoying.

What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them? In the past few days I have posted about "deconstructed" Beatles tracks available on YouTube, an "ask me anything" meme, and my Wednesday update on what I'm reading this week.

Anything else? Nifty format for a friending meme!

... Reading? I have a tendency to read too many books at once, get distracted reading something else, and not finish them until months later. *sweatdrop* Books near the top of the stack rn are a book of Northumberland folk tales and Women Warriors: An Unexpected History by Pamela Toler.
... Watching? MDZS donghua season 3. Thinking about starting the TGCF donghua.
... Listening to? One of my playlists on shuffle, which is currently giving me the Riddle Scene from the opera Turandot. :)
... Playing? Not a gamer, I'm afraid.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I like singing, cooking, writing fanfic. My chorus is currently doing the Brahms Requiem. Thinking about baking ginger cardamom muffins today. Trying to edit a Shakespeare fic (Lavinia from Titus Andronicus) and write an F/F Tolkien ficlet for a DW prompt comm.
... Looking forward to? Ginger cardamom muffins. :) Taking a walk outside, looking for new leaves and flowers, and listening to the birds chirping.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The general state of the world. The pub across the street that plays music too loud. Whether my chorus's upcoming concert will go well.

What were your last three LJ DW entries about and when did you post them? Birds (April 5th), Happy Passover and an aria about frogs (April 15th), and a link to watch kakapo chicks in their nest (kakapo=nocturnal flightless parrot) (April 22nd). I sometimes don't post for weeks and sometimes post multiple entries in one day. It depends!

Anything else? I have a pet cockatiel named Hebe and she's very cute. :) I post bird pics sometimes.

... Reading? My hold came in on Overdue: Reckoning with the Public Library and I'm finishing a reread of The Hunger Games series that I'm hoping will get me out of a small reading slump. Oh, and I started rereading my favorite manga series (TSUBASA: RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE).

... Watching? Right now I'm catching up on His Dark Materials and crossing my fingers that the Redwall series didn't get canceled.

... Listening to? I like streaming the local indie radio station from where I grew up.

... Playing? I bought myself a copy of Kingdom Hearts when it came out on Switch but it's been slow going because holding the Switch hurts my hands.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I'm procrastinating on finishing my critical thesis (about grief in children's literature) an applying for jobs. I also got some free yarn for a competition hosted by the local crochet guild.

... Looking forward to? Fingers crossed, but my low residency MFA program should be in person this summer! I started in June 2020 so I've never actually been on campus.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I've sent out maybe hundreds of job applications and I haven't had any luck so far. I have a job, so it's not a financial emergency, but I really want a better job.

What were your last three LJ Dw entries about and when did you post them?
27 April: I complained about the job situation.
26 April: I complained about the job situation.
25 April: I wrote a bunch about identifying as genderqueer.

Anything else? I swear, I do post about things other than the job situation. It has been taking up a lot of mental space lately and Dw is a place where I can vent and get my frustration out. I always put long complaints under a cut so I'm not a Debbie Downer on everyone's friend list. Before those last three posts, I wrote about internet urban legends, a trip downtown and a book that I enjoyed, and some co-writing I'm doing with friends.

Today: some weekly questions
Last Friday: the first time I decided to do a weekly questions post
3rd of April: some pictures and descriptions of the things I was building in the sims 3 :)

Anything else?
I don't mind how often people post or what it's about as long as it's not very angry, or not regularly at least. I am all for the healing and galvanising nature of anger, but I don't come to DW to read or post it! I thought for a while I didn't like when journals were mostly political posts, but I don't think that's true, it's the vibe (some people post about politics without that vibe, some people post about day-to-day life or fandom/hobby things with it...)

I try to comment on people's posts but I often can't think of anything to say, so I don't expect people to comment on my own posts either. But I think it's nice when people are at least aiming to comment, you know? So at least once in a while we will be talking to one another.
