I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?

... Reading? An audiobook history of World War I and a print reread of some of Dorothy L. Sayers' Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries. I'm also trying to catch up on the massive pile of TBR graphic novels I've accumulated. Here's my profile on The StoryGraph.

... Watching? Star Trek: DS9 for the first time. Just finished Our Flag Means Death. I'm rewatching The Great British Bake Off and The West Wing as comfort viewing.

... Listening to? Sirius XM's Symphony Hall, the blues music of Jim Byrnes, and The Beatles. Though I do like pop music!

... Playing? We started doing jigsaw puzzles during the pandemic and haven't stopped.

... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? The usual household stuff, wrangling three dogs and a cat, trying to write fanfic and failing miserably.

... Looking forward to? The renewal of Our Flag Means Death (c'mon, HBO!), Thor: Love and Thunder, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, listening to more non-fiction audiobooks, reading more fanfic.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The world. I have a lot of anxiety. In more trivial matters, it's gnat season in Texas. They're very annoying.

What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them? In the past few days I have posted about "deconstructed" Beatles tracks available on YouTube, an "ask me anything" meme, and my Wednesday update on what I'm reading this week.
