Here and Now — A Friendzy

I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?

... Reading? I have a tendency to read too many books at once, get distracted reading something else, and not finish them until months later. *sweatdrop* Books near the top of the stack rn are a book of Northumberland folk tales and Women Warriors: An Unexpected History by Pamela Toler.
... Watching? MDZS donghua season 3. Thinking about starting the TGCF donghua.
... Listening to? One of my playlists on shuffle, which is currently giving me the Riddle Scene from the opera Turandot. :)
... Playing? Not a gamer, I'm afraid.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I like singing, cooking, writing fanfic. My chorus is currently doing the Brahms Requiem. Thinking about baking ginger cardamom muffins today. Trying to edit a Shakespeare fic (Lavinia from Titus Andronicus) and write an F/F Tolkien ficlet for a DW prompt comm.
... Looking forward to? Ginger cardamom muffins. :) Taking a walk outside, looking for new leaves and flowers, and listening to the birds chirping.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The general state of the world. The pub across the street that plays music too loud. Whether my chorus's upcoming concert will go well.

What were your last three LJ DW entries about and when did you post them? Birds (April 5th), Happy Passover and an aria about frogs (April 15th), and a link to watch kakapo chicks in their nest (kakapo=nocturnal flightless parrot) (April 22nd). I sometimes don't post for weeks and sometimes post multiple entries in one day. It depends!

Anything else? I have a pet cockatiel named Hebe and she's very cute. :) I post bird pics sometimes.

I post about birdfeeding most days. Last year was the Summer of the Tree Frogs. I don't know if they'll come back this year, but I sure hope so. They're adorable little things.

Here we have green ones and gray ones. They like to cling to the door or house wall under the porchlight, presumably because it attracts bugs.
