Here and Now — A Friendzy
Apr. 22nd, 2022 11:32 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)

I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?
So here I am, with an attempt at an original friending meme! Share, comment, find friends, you know the drill!
The more, the merrier:

... Reading? Primarily, Hello Goodbye Hello by Craig Brown. And at the rate of one chapter a week (to go along with the Harry Potter and the Sacred Text podcast), Harry Potter y el prisionero de Azkaban (HP3 in Spanish, if that wasn’t clear ^^)
... Watching? If I look at this week, weekly shows on TV: (the latest seasons of) Call the Midwife, Outlander, The Rookie, Mr. Mayor, This Is Us, A Million Little Things, Star Trek: Picard, The Girl from Plainville and Ghosts (US). And on the side I’m finishing up the Netflix docuseries Diagnosis.
... Listening to? My Release Radar playlist on Spotify. Right now it’s some classical piece, I’m not exactly sure why…
... Playing? My only computer game is The Sims 4. On my phone I play Hogwarts Mystery, and am ridiculously addicted to a dumb game called Merge Numbers.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Job-wise, I’m a freelance editor and translator. Today I’m finishing the edit of a crime novel I’ve been working on for a few weeks.
Leisure-wise, I’m working on a maybe-potential-novel-eventually, and I always have a gazillion HP fanfiction ideas going, though I try to limit my writing to maximum three simultaneously.
... Looking forward to? The Imola F1 race Sunday (Forza Italia!) and Dewey’s 24-Hour Readathon next Saturday!
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? *gestures wildly at everything around* I mean, is there something to not be concerned about in 2022?! But more concretely, this weekend is the French presidential elections. I have double nationality but I won’t vote because they don’t allow us to mail-in and pandemic, but I still hope they’ll avoid the tendency of the world to fall to the right-wing extremists.
What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them?
Wednesday (4/20): I wrote about the novel I was editing. I do that when I have really terrible manuscripts. I never give out titles or authors, or any details that would make it possible to identify the book, but these entries always amuse my readers greatly ^^
Tuesday (4/19): A very short entry to celebrate that I got an appointment to get measured for a custom wheelchair (after six months on the waiting list), and that I was getting an incomprehensibly large tax return this year.
Sunday (4/17): My usual weekly summary. Every Sunday I write about the media I consumed during the week (books, TV and movies), talk about the work I did, share a random anecdote and post a photo of my cat Kenji, because she’s cute and I love her.
Anything else? I’m hoping this friendzy will be as successful here as it was last year on LJ, because I lost a bunch of people in the recent move and would really enjoy having a reading page as active here as it was over there!

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? Nothing at the moment. I went from reading 61 books in 2021 to re-reading just one for 2022. I hope to get back into reading. Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim is next on my list. I've heard good things.
... Watching? I just finished Severance and it's one of the best shows I've watched in a long time. It stars Adam Scott and is directed by Ben Stiller. It's all twisty and leaves you with your jaw dropped. I haven't enjoyed a show to that extent in such a long, long time.
... Listening to? Really into this singe named Amy Shark lately. She's got such an interesting voice.
... Playing? Not playing any games lately, but the last one I played was probably the Baldar's Gate 3 beta, which wasn't completed yet. It still isn't. It was really good from what I did play. My last full game was Death Stranding which made me cry a lot as a mother.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I am an animator for TV. I just finished up a show on Comedy Central, so now I'm putzing around being a Stay at home mom to my two boys and catching up cleaning the house and doing everything I neglected when I was working.
... Looking forward to? My 3 year old getting vaccinated!!!
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I mean, the world has gone to shit. As an Asian, I no longer feel safe in NYC, where I lived and commuted to work to. I'm fortunate that I don't have to commute anymore and can work at home.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? One was an Easter post about my weekend and my kids. Another was about a private bad thing that happened to my best friend. And the one before that was about the mass shooting in the NYC subway station I used to live near and used every single day during that time. They were all within the last two weeks. I post frequently and have since 2001.
Anything else? I write long entries about my life, my children, my spouse, my friendships, co-workers, home, etc. My life. Sometimes it's very mundane, sometimes it's not. And that's what I'm looking for. I also treat DW as a two way street, I don't need comments on every single one of my entries, but maybe here or there, just to know that you're still reading. And most importantly, I am looking for active people. Someone posting once a month doesn't tell me who they are and makes it hard for me to follow. I have been consistent in my posting since 2001 and am looking for more of the same.
And just to really lay it out there: I am also anti-Trump, pro-vaccine, pro-choice, and part of the LGBQT+ community. So if you have a problem with any of those things. Not interested.

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I'm in a moment of calm, thankfully.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? They were a mishmash of my life right now, and I posted them this week and last week
Anything else? I'm queer and marrying a woman. If this isn't your thing, please pass me by. I'm also Indigenous, and talk about that sometimes - it's an important part of who I am. I like people who comment at least sometimes, and I also try to comment as much as I can on my friends' entries. I prefer people who are active on their journals at least a few times a month.

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? As usual I am reading too many at once. I am loving a book about Flora found in Norway, with x-ray photos of the plants and history/fun facts about them. IThe second sex by Siome de Beauvoir is a book I have been reading for a while, but it's slow going. I am also reading a wonderful poetry collection by Wislawa Szymborska.
... Watching? TV: I am not watching a lot at the moment. I am trying to drag out my watching of Our flag means death, but I know I will finish this weekend. I plan on watching the second season of We're here. I recently finished seson 6 of Shetland, an emotional ride. YT: Other minds and hands: an open and friendly discussion of Tolkien adaption.
... Listening to? I listen to a bit of everything really, music-wise, and I am listening to the audiobook Botanical folk tales of Britain and Ireland at the moment. I also listen to podcasts from time to, mostly history-related.
... Playing? I am not a gamer, but I do enjoy boardgames, Wingspan is a favourite at the moment.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I work as a teacher and that means marking. In my spare time I write, and I am working on a short story which migh grow and short prose and poetry for the most part. I also like to be out in nature with my camera.
... Looking forward to? Seeing Queen live in some months, just enjoying spring, summer break.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The state of the world with wars and a reverse of many human rights.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
1. An update on my week, to catch up.
2. A book post about the books I have recently read because I like talking about books.
3. An update on what I got up to during by Easter break, just because I wanted to share.
Anything else?
I usually post quite a few times over the course of a week. I have monthy posts where I talk of book, fandom (what I have enjoyed watching), dwellpositivty (posts with quotes and links to art/photographs of beautiful things) and a hobby post where I post photos I have taken and talk of other hobbies. I also talk about my life in general.

... Reading? I am rereading Katherine Addison's The Witness for the Dead. I got it on Tuesday and read the whole thing (it is pretty slim... only 230ish pages!). I'd like to savor it better the second time around.
... Watching? I am ostensibly watching two shows at the moment: Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max, and Pinecone and Pony, a cartoon on Apple TV+. I've watched one episode of the former and quite enjoyed it. I've watched three episodes (really six; there' are two 11min shorts per episode) of the latter. I am honestly pretty terrible about watching TV or even movies consistently, though.
... Listening to? Music-wise: whatever's in my iTunes library that I like (so mostly Daft Punk, though I did listen to a couple Janelle Monae albums recently). I am also slowly making my way through Welcome to Night Vale again. I finally caught up last year (am behind by a few episodes again, but no matter), and it's really just a phenomenal podcast.
... Playing? I have managed to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons every day for a long while now. I've also been playing a game called Gradiently on my Switch; you have to arrange colored tiles to form a gradient, and it's pretty relaxing and fun.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I am generally always crocheting something or other; right now it's a dragon amigurumi/plushie. I also picked up a cross-stitch kit that I haven't touched in a year and a half today, so that was nice. I am also ostensibly working on writing things, though my muse/inspiration/motivation has been AWOL for like a month, so that's kind of not happening at the moment. Anyway.
... Looking forward to? The new Thor Marvel movie? They released a trailer the other day, and it looks really, really good, or at the very least, extremely entertaining. Also Katherine Addison has another book out this summer, I think, and I'm looking forward to that.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? I mean... *gestures broadly at everything?* Though honestly I'm probably most concerned about the various anti-trans and anti-aborition legislation being enacted around the US right now. It's honestly feeling like the GOP is modeling their "ideal America" on Margaret Atwood's Gilead. :///
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
- 4/20: A general update on my life stuff.
- 4/7: Update on how my (minor) surgery went.
- 4/4: Worrying about how my (minor) surgery was going to go, with some life-update stuff as well.
Anything else?
Not really? I try to post at least once or twice a week, though sometimes there are longer gaps (see above). I am not much of a fandom person, though; I mostly just post about what's going on with me. There's a pinned post on my blog if you want to see what other kind of stuff I like.

... Reading? "Under A Pole Star" by Stef Penney. It is about young people going on an expedition to the arctic in the 1890s. I recently read "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier. I also read magazines, in print, not on a screen. I like Red and Nat Geo. I also read a lot of children's books to my children.

... Listening to? All types of music! Currently it is Kylie Minogue, Wolf Alice, Duran Duran, Years and Years and many many more....I can listen to AC/DC and then BTS without a pause in-between. I listen to the radio a lot. Specifically the current from Minneapolis as it is so eclectic.
... Playing? I was playing the piano last week at my parents' house. I would like a piano.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? finding time to take some refresher driving lessons and I also have to do my US taxes (dual US/UK citizen).
... Looking forward to?the warmer weather and seeing friends?
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? If the pandemic will ever end/war in Europe/climate change/state of the world..... there's not a lack of things to be worried about.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
My last two were about visiting home in Minnesota for the first time in nearly three years. The one before those was about my layover in Boston and taking my kids to the New England Aquarium. I tend to update every 5-8 days.
Anything else? I am very passionate about human rights, my master's degree is in human rights. I very rarely go on political rants but I will mention, even briefly, my views from time to time so if you are a Trump supporter or consider yourself right-wing we are going to clash.

4/22 - Short post about blood donation math
Anything else?
I post about day to day stuff, work stuff, and random bits and bobs - lots of pictures. I enjoy reading about your day to day life - so that I feel like I get to know people! ... Reading?
There's so many things. Wheels of time, I'm in the second book somewhere in the middle, also I've got a random audio book playing while gaming and there's tons of books for work I would read, but I hardly find the time or motivation to read a lot, sadly.
... Watching?
I love Masterchef Australia and am really happy it's on again, other than that random medical/emergency stuff and sometimes the ood netflix series, most I find too boring or weird at the moment though.
... Listening to?
I listen to music a lot, it varies from classical to punk and metal to the old indie classics.
... Playing?
No man's sky, again. Only 1200 hours in ;)
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)?
Workwise I have a lot on my plate and sometimes I do go into details. Privately I want to swap bedrooms and need to figure out the logistics, as in how to get rid of one extra bed.
... Looking forward to?
Having more people here on dw. The whole DW/LJ debacle is a shame...
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about?
I try to avoid the news if I can afford that workwise, the less I know the better.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
22.04. a filtered entry on the animals I'm keeping. Filtered because not everyone likes the pets I have ;)
22.04. another entry with lots of pics from my recent architecture pic shoot in a newly developped district of my town, I love taking pics!
19.04. an entry on my son getting the job he badly wanted to have. Exciting times! :)
Anything else? I don't have the largest attention span, long entries exhaust me... I don't want to be rude and skip them but please keep that in mind when adding me. It's an annoying thing but I just can't change it :( but I'm really looking forward to new people!

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? "The Paris Library" by Janet Skeslien Charles, plenty of graphic novels and have a high to-read pile checked out from the library. I've been struggling with reading this year, so reading anything is a win at this point.
...Watching? Mainly movies for the movie challenge I'm doing. TV-wise, I pretty much only watch the Finnish version of "Gogglebox" and sports.
... Listening to? This year's Eurovision songs, Royal Blood, Architects, Nothing But Thieves, The Sounds and whatever my Spotify playlists throw at me.
... Playing? Solitaire? I don't really play anything that much.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Job-wise, I am a librarian and we have a big weeding project at work (removing books that haven't been checked out in years from circulation), plus the usual social media and ICT things that fall on my lap. Leisure-wise, practicing a lot of Italian and French on Duolingo, toying with the idea of picking up Korean too.
... Looking forward to? Proper spring? Eurovision Song Contest next month, summer vacation sometime in the distant future, actually going to places and seeing and doing things.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The general everything. The pandemic, Russia's war in Ukraine, climate change, you name it, I'm probably worried about it.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? In early April there was a best things about March post, in March one about figure skating and a general life update. I'm not the best with updating, but I try to read and comment regularly.
Anything else? Goes without saying that human rights are for everyone. Like I said above, I'm a sporadic updater and with the move from LJ to DW lost some friends, so would love to be friends with new people, that generally motivates me to be more active.

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? A Perilous Perspective by Anna Lee Huber, the 10th in the Lady Darby series (set in the early 1800s Scotland - sometimes England...)
... Watching? I don't watch a lot of current TV. If I have the TV on it's usually a show I've seen a million times as background noise. The only thing I watch live(ish) is sports (netball and Aussie Rules footy mainly).
... Listening to? I have my regular favourites on Spotify - an eclectic mix of classical, Broadway, songs we play in band, Robbie Williams, The Boy Least Likely To...
... Playing? French horn and flute. Oh wait, I'm guessing you mean games :P I don't really play video games but I am currently playing Wordle (and a number of variants that have appeared)
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Work has been a bit crazy, not helped by the number of days off I've had (I worked out that mid-May will be my first full five day week since the beginning of March due to public holidays and days off here and there). Next week I'm hoping to get back into working on our Time Portal project, which should ease a lot of the timesheet issues I have (I'm a payroll manager). Leisure wise my main thing is my 365 photo project.
... Looking forward to? This time in two weeks I will be at Uluru with my parents! Also looking forward to seeing Robbie Williams live next weekend with my sister and my niece.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The same things everyone is concerned about - Covid, the war in Ukraine, the world in general, the health of some family members, the state of the housing market...
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
Posting last week's 365 photos.
An update in general
And probably posting the previous week's 365 photos.
Anything else?
I don't think so. I usually post a couple of times a week but that can change with work and life in general.

Name: I do not use my legal name, except for financial transactions. Georgiana is what I use here, though you can call me Georgie or even George.
Age: Thirty-eight.
Location: North Arlington New Jersey.
Currently, what are you... ...
Reading? I must finish Gilbert Gurney, the Memoirs of Harriette Wilson, and the Life and Letters of Beau Brummell.
Watching? Nothing.
Listening to? My screen reader as I type and read things.
Playing? Nothing.
Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I am trying to have Male and Female Costume by Beau Brummell published. I am also working on my French and my pre-1868 Etonian curriculum. For leisure, I must buy more tea and am considering trying some new nasal snuffs and replenishing some old ones.
Looking forward to? Moving downstairs to the basement!
Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Nothing at the moment.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? I haven't used Livejournal in so many years that I can't begin to remember my last entries. As for Dreamwidth, my last three entries were titled More Music, Laughter, Love, and Weather, Spiritual Encounters, and Music and Contentment. They covered a wide variety of topics. I posted them today and yesterday, respectively.
Anything else? This is just a bit about me. I am straight, single, and searching. I enjoy Grammar prescriptivism, studying dandyism, trying coffees, teas, and nasal snuffs, antique menswear (no feminine clothing or makeup), warm baths, cooking and baking from scratch, nineteenth-century British literature, Upper Received Pronunciation, writing, and playing card, dice, and parlour games. I am very interested in high culture, including things such as good literature, theatre, classical music, opera (very slowly learning about it), fine dining, French, history, art, etc. I love wit, wordplay, and sarcastic humour without vulgarity. I hate political correctness and drama. I don't drink, barring dealcoholised wine, or do drugs. I neither have nor want children, and I am not religious. I have been totally blind since I was two months old, due to Retinopathy of Prematurity.

... Reading? "I Thought You Said This Would Work" by Ann Wertz Garvin
... Watching? Tropical Plant Party on YouTube, and also random Frasier, MASH, or the Monkees episodes. Last movie I watched was "Hot Millions" (1968) with Maggie Smith
... Listening to? The Q FM Radio 94.7FM (100.3FM) on in the background daily. Soundtrack to Harold & Maude, ABBA, or Jack Johnson lately otherwise. And audiobook called "A Year of Mr. Maybes" by Judy Leigh
... Playing? Nothing at the moment.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Cleaning up the backyard, refreshing wall paint in the house (which is taking forever), getting a donation pile built up for when the weather gets nice, and keeping houseplants alive.
... Looking forward to? Actual Spring weather. Being able to plant peas and tomatoes outside (It's too cold here still). Warmer weather will be nice.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? We have our dentist check-ups this week. And, well, the world is still wonky so I'm not looking forward to that one bit. Also it's coming up to the anniversary ( mid May) of losing my best friend to cancer and my dad to kidney disease, so I am not liking that coming up.
What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them?
April 11th Hail No - Photos of my kitty. Unexpected hail falling.
April 16th I foresee scarring in my future - An update on a cat scratch on my face.
April 23rd Relaxing days (for the cats) - Kitty photos, and plans for backyard improvements.
Anything else?I really like adding pictures to my posts. Like, a lot. Also, we have four cats, and so pictures of them are going to happen.

Mainly the war, and covid. We live in interesting times.

... Reading? I'm about to start Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. I've recently been going through her backlog and have been enjoying them a lot!
... Watching? Below Deck, Canada's Got Talent, Good Sam, Masterchef Australia, Grey's Anatomy, Call Me Kat, Ghosts, Future Food Stars and Riverdale.
... Listening to? I haven't been on much of a music kick lately.
... Playing? It's been awhile but I love playing Super Smash Bros on the Switch.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? We are moving back to Europe (Paris) in about six weeks so my husband and I are organizing everything for that.
... Looking forward to? May 13 as we got tickets to see Simu Liu on his book tour and June 4 because that's when we're flying out!
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Just that the move goes well. We still have a lot to take care of.
What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them? My most recent one was about a day trip we took to Kingston and booking our flights to Paris. Before that, I believe it was just after Easter weekend. I was feeling a bit down not being able to spend it with family though that will definitely change next year. And the third was when my husband and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary by going out for Korean BBQ, the cinema and seeing Cirque Du Soleil.
Anything else? I post about my life with my husband and our cat. Most recently it has been about our upcoming move and all the woes that come with it. I also talk about the TV shows and movies that I watch (I have movie review blog so I'm always up to date on the latest releases). I'm looking for friends who are active and who want to make proper connections.
Hmm ...

... Reading? I'm sort of between books atm and started the first of the "Chief Inspector Gamache" mysteries mostly because I had it on my kindle already, but I don't plan to read the whole series at this point
... Watching? Nothing new, for reasons outlined below. I have a weekly Farscape rewatch and am watching a lot of crime procedurals I have already seen at least once (but mostly more often), because I know what happens and it's basically comfort watching
... Listening to? Nothing specific, I am just off a The Amazing Devil trip (triggered by writing Witcher fanfic), but I basically will always listen to Queen and otherwise a random assortment of what comes whenever
... Playing? I don't play games. Duolingo, if we count that! But I've mostly just been keeping my streak alive the last few weeks because I need to prioritize
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I'm working in a regulated industry and I'm always working on one project strategy or other, and I also sometimes write about what I lovingly dub "my IT project"...I'm not in IT or anything related to IT, but somehow found myself elbows deep in systems. Go figure. I'm also working on a master's thesis for a job-specific degree. I hate it and have been asking everyone I know to shoot me if I start talking about another post-graduate degree. Leisure-wise, I just finished a Witcher fic where I turned Jaskier and Geralt into frogs, which was my first and only excursion to Witcher fandom (one hopes!) and am currently working on a murder mystery fic which is a thin veneer for writing a friends to lovers story
... Looking forward to? The thesis being done. That's the one silver living
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? My Ukrainian colleagues. The war in Ukraine in general and the political response to it. The election in France. Failing the thesis.
What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?
Uhm let's see:
Today: Many things make a post a general update on thesis/fic/books/my twisted knee and a link to this place
Yesterday: Two Progress Reports an update on my twisted knee and a draft for three very silly murder mystery scenarios that I enjoyed greatly
Friday: An auspicious start to the weekend? about my vanquishing my leaking kitchen drain, my productive plans for the weekend and the subsequent update that I twisted my knee like an idiot
Anything else? Contrary to what it looks like I don't post daily and have the unfortunate tendency to sometimes go radio silent over stretches of time. I'm not talking from a US perspective, which may be obvious and has never been an issue on DW but has led to misunderstandings in other places on the interwebs.

... Reading? working through my book bingo books, namely Lang Ya Bang (aka the NiF novel) and Aubrey Gordon's What We Don't Talk About When We Talk About Fat.
... Watching? Mostly C-drama and K-drama, but I have Archive 81 on my Netflix queue...
... Listening to? Right at this moment Faun's new album Pagan.
... Playing? Does Duolingo count?
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? I should be working on my longfic but as my brain's fighting me, I'm not.
... Looking forward to? My tattoo appointment next Friday. I hope we'll manage to finish my back piece but if not, I'll just have to make another appointment. What a shame if that happened.
...
Worried/concerned/annoyed about? Many things, but the most pressing issue has to do with how TPTB are dealing with the massive shortage of nurses. Or, more correctly, how they're NOT dealing with it. *growls*What were your last three
LJDW entries about and when did you post them? I try to post several times a week but it really depends on my shifts. The last three entries were posted in Apr 23rd (a Bulgasal episode 8 reaction post), Apr 20th (an Army of Lovers music video), and Apr 19th (Gods & Lies audiodrama review).Anything else?I think my intro post is a pretty accurate summary of my journal, so check that. Follow or unfollow at will, there's no need to ask me if it's okay.

... Reading?
Revisiting old Harry Potter fanfictions for a personal project [An excuse like any other] and a bookbinding manual.
... Watching?
I don't watch much TV, in general, whatever my husband is watching while I'm next to him doing something else. [Mostly reading fanfiction]
... Listening to?
I'm going through a Ziggy Stardust phase ... 50 years too late.
... Playing?
My musical ability is reduced to ringing the doorbell. Does that count as playing an instrument?
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)?
Job-wise,
I am a social science researcher: I read, collect data, write, guide theses and complain about university bureaucracy.
Leisure-wise,
I'm learning to bind fanfiction; I'm a very amateurish member of the Renegade Publishing guild. There, generously, they have taught me a lot. So far, I have created three volumes by hand (two successful and one disastrous). In the medium term I want to hand bind All The Young Dudes, which is a big challenge for me.
... Looking forward to?
My daughter's dissertation.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about?
Where should I start?
I am anxious about the successful completion of the constitutional reform in my country. (A long history, which begins on 11 September 1973 with the Pinochet dictatorship and whose ghosts still haunt us).
What were your last three DW entries about and when did you post them?
Today, Apr. 24th, I wrote about a small earth tremor, my family and some bookbinding.
Yesterday, 23th A funny rumour at my university
Apr. 21st, my mood and health.
Anything else?
In these 18 years I have met many people, some of them became good friends. We have accompanied each other in our daily lives; as well as in our engagement in the Harry Potter fandom, some no longer participate in it, but the friendship continues.
Though I don't write much on the subject, my social and political views are born from the horrors of a childhood and adolescence spent under an alt-right dictatorship. I feel strongly about human rights violations of any kind.
My English grammar is not the best, but I try to express myself as well as I can.
