I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?

... Playing? Not much. I fired up Pokemon Go over the Easter holiday after 2.5 months off.
... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? Mostly my job - trying to advance my career as a lecturer in space engineering
... Looking forward to? Traveling to meetings and conferences over the summer. This is one of the major perks of being an academic.
... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? The inequity of Covid vaccination access and infection control regulation.

What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them? A family trip to Orleans, France, over the past few days.

Anything else? I mostly post about my life, my job, my feelings, and my family, and I love reading others who do the same.
