I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?

Currently, what are you...
... Reading? "Under A Pole Star" by Stef Penney. It is about young people going on an expedition to the arctic in the 1890s. I recently read "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMaurier. I also read magazines, in print, not on a screen. I like Red and Nat Geo. I also read a lot of children's books to my children.


... Watching? I just started the last season of "Better Call Saul". I am looking forward to new "Russian Doll" and "Stranger Things". I want to watch "The Great". I still love "Frasier" re-runs. UK people, I also like ","Grayson's Art Club" on Channel 4.

... Listening to? All types of music! Currently it is Kylie Minogue, Wolf Alice, Duran Duran, Years and Years and many many more....I can listen to AC/DC and then BTS without a pause in-between. I listen to the radio a lot. Specifically the current from Minneapolis as it is so eclectic.

... Playing? I was playing the piano last week at my parents' house. I would like a piano.


... Working on (job-wise and/or leisure-wise)? finding time to take some refresher driving lessons and I also have to do my US taxes (dual US/UK citizen).

... Looking forward to?the warmer weather and seeing friends?

... Worried/concerned/annoyed about? If the pandemic will ever end/war in Europe/climate change/state of the world..... there's not a lack of things to be worried about.



What were your last three LJ entries about and when did you post them?


My last two were about visiting home in Minnesota for the first time in nearly three years. The one before those was about my layover in Boston and taking my kids to the New England Aquarium. I tend to update every 5-8 days.

Anything else? I am very passionate about human rights, my master's degree is in human rights. I very rarely go on political rants but I will mention, even briefly, my views from time to time so if you are a Trump supporter or consider yourself right-wing we are going to clash.
