I don't know about you, but lately I've been bored by the redundancy of friending memes. It feels like I'm always being asked the same things — favourite books/movies/games/fandoms, things I post about, things I look for in friends... This is all well and good, I don't have anything against those questions — I've found so many good LJ-friends through them, why would I? — but I find myself hoping to be asked something new at every friendzy I participate in.
And then I thought, why not organize one myself?

I have a friend on LJ who's a big Mariners fan. I'm a baseball fan, but the Tampa Bay Rays are my team. But I'd love to have another baseball friend. Can't have too many of those!

But, yes, baseball friends are the best!

LOL, I saw that this afternoon after the Rays game. So yep! You and Ken will both be on my frenemies list this week. (grin)

Fair and I wondered if Ken was the LJ friend you mentioned. Good guy with fab baseball tastes :)

He is. He's Canadian and used to live in Vancouver, so he became a Mariners fan.
